In 1970 he formed Heritage Steel Ltd, a rebar installation (placing) company. Claude was well known and liked by many customers, and as a result, this company contracted many small and medium-sized projects throughout the lower mainland. In 1983 he invited his son Martin into the business. Heritage Steel Sales Ltd was starting its journey to becoming one of the premier fabrication facilities in the lower mainland.
